About Us

Our goal as breeders is to breed and train healthy, well balanced golden retrievers and golden retriever puppies. Like anything else in life you usually get out of something what you put in, well we put a lot into our golden retrievers!

About Us We are a family who loves Golden Retrievers. We are proud members of the Golden Retriever Club of America and the Valle del Sol Golden Retriever Club. Our Golden Retrievers are truely our family. Here are just some of the events we do with our dogs....

Conformation is what most of us refer to as a "Dog Show". Here your dog competes against the AKC Breed Standard. The Breed Standard is a written description of what a Golden Retriever should look like, how they should move, and what their temperament should be like.

Field Work is why the Golden Retriever were originally bred, to retrieve fallen game in the waters of Scotland. To be honest I do not even hunt, but several years ago I realized how important the instincts bred into a golden retriever.  The instincts that make a successful hunter also make the pefect family dog. It was bred to be a companion to man, to work with him all day without getting tired and to do it with a happy and loving spirit, with a strong desire to please and serve.....what more could a dog owner ask for ? That is why we continue to protect the "retriever" in our Golden Retrievers.

Service Work is one of the areas that a Golden Retriever can really shine.  In my opinion a Golden Retriever's love of people is second to none! When I got my first Golden Retriever puppy I had one goal, to visit kids at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Well, now I have, on the sidebar you can find a photo of Connor in his uniform. While all of our golden retrievers have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, Connor and Cider have both also passed the Delta therapy dog test.  Two of the puppies from our last litter have gone into the service field. Dotty is being trained as a assistance dog and Worthington is being trained for work as a service dog...we are proud of both of them.

Agility Work with your dog can be an awesome experience. The first training I did with all of my golden retrievers was agility training with a local agility club. They taught me how to work with my dog, create a partnership and how to push through rough patches of training. In agility you have to give commands to your dog and guide them through an obstacle course.

Our goal is to be the best breeder of quality golden retrievers in the state of Arizona. To find out a little about what makes us different, click here.
